I made this worksheet and have each student fill it out after walking them through the "Getting Started" Instructions on the back. They choose a Strum Rhythm, Bass Rhythm, Identify Chord Tones, and Select their placement in the strum parts. I then either open Sibelius and write out their parts in realtime to playback for them (a select few) OR I take them home and pick 3 to write out, print a score, and read it together the next week. Either way, they really enjoy it once they get past the fact that it is Mary Had a Little Lamb! I just wanted something they could all sing in their heads while choosing their options. I've done this successfully with Ages 8 - 80!
