This solo will stretch any intermediate player to accomplish a smooth performance. Musically, Free The Robots is an additive and subtractive piece inspired by the recent developments in AI. A theme is laid out, modified, reestablished, morphed…etc…until the "Robot" starts to have more original thoughts and glitches out in the middle. Then it returns to its permeations on the original program. The performer will have to work on the touch required to keep the prescribed dynamics. Duration: around 2mins and 20secs
